What platform are you using for your home automation? How important is it to fully integrate your shades into that? Remotes? Apps? Do you need repeaters? All of this figures into the cost. What type of fabrics do you want for your shades? Plastic that looks like it belongs in your dentists office and not your home? In my recent experience with a Lutron dealer, the fabric choices were limited and not the esthetic we wanted. If you are a price sensitive buyer (and we all have a budget), there are other providers in this space besides the ones you have considered. Get lots of quotes and understand that some will even allow you to measure and DIY the install. Just depends on where you land on price/warranty/service and cost.

I am only automating one shade that is too heavy for manual. I want white light filtering in something that isn't too thin. The rest of the windows would be either HD Applause or Norman Purvu unless something else is better. Don't want to spring for HD Duette but don't want super cheap either.
