We are in the process of house building. We have put radiant heat on the main level. Little did we know it lowers your options of what flooring to use…unless you have an endless budget of course. We do not.
When we asked heat installation company what flooring to use they said ‘anything except hardwood’ so we took them at their word and didn’t realise it’s not as straight forward as ‘anything’!!
We were thinking engineered hardwood but reading reviews it depends on which engineered hardwood you choose.
Depending where you go to look at options. Depends what story you get. What is the best thing since sliced bread and what is a pile of garbage.
