Leave them as is. Painting those properly is a months long job. And they are not worth that labor. Gray is also very very dead.

No to gray, unless you really love gray. The color wave is changing toward taupes/ beige.

I would paint them white.

Gray may not be the in thing, but, pick a color you like. If you like gray then paint them gray. Whats trendy isnt important. You need to have colors you like. I actually like the color of the ones you have already.

Wife likes white - but is there a white recommendation that wouldn't blend in too much with our walls, counters and back splash?
