Waht is the exterior like now ? Post pics of the house the drawing is no help at all I do not like gables on MCM ranch homes or grids in the windows so I need info as to the plan as far as style goes.

So you already have stone so are removing that ? I need more infao as to what the plan is and for sure what style you want .

You're adding a clerestory over the roof? Why are you removing the stone? Why black windows? As Patricia says, we need more information about what direction you're going in. If you have an architect, they should be helping you with these decisions.

We are removing the stone since a lot of is broken and we're installing new windows bc these are original to the house and we prefer black windows. We are not fans of any of the current exterior selections which is why I thought the drawing might be sufficient.

I would keep the stone, and try and find replacement stone that blends in for where it is needed. It sounds a bit to me, like you are trying for a more modern look, but, the house has a nice look already, just needs a bit of clean up on the house itself, and the yard.
