gap in new microwave

Hi! After waiting 4 months for my replacement microwave (supply chain issues, still!) I was very disappointed to see this gap in the right corner. The last thing I want to do is return it and wait another 4 months.. m. Does anyone know if this is dangerous and/or will affect the performance?

Looks like it was dropped or had something heavy placed on it and got bent. If it is very visible in the kitchen I would return and replace, as it would annoy me everyday when I used it.

If that's a DCS MO24SS2 then it's been discontinued and replaced by the Fisher & Paykel MO24SS3Y which is readily available: AJ Madison, Build.

Yes, that’s the new model I just received as I loved the old one! Just that this one was poorly made!

I agree with chispa- it looks like it was damaged in shipping or other handling. It’d bug me and I wouldn’t keep it.

It is suppose to be used with the trim kit if you are intergrating it into cabinetry. It also says to allow 2 inches around sides, top and rear of oven.
