Please HELP with small living room layout!

This is our main and essentially only living room in our home. Fireplace on one end, one large window on one wall. We need to allow flow to the laundry room as well as flow to the back door. Up the 3 stairs is the kitchen/dining area. The space we have for furniture layout is 13 feet by 16 feet.
We will be buying ALL NEW FURNITURE for this space. We had very old furniture and minimal furniture prior to the remodel (holding out buying anything until after the remodel). Please give me all of your suggestions. A small sectional, couch and a couple chairs, any ideas. Plan is to put the tv above the fireplace, but open to any and all suggestions.
We are a family of soon to be 5, in the little kid stage of life.
