Need an exterior back door landing

last year
last modified: last year

Couldn't be much worse. Garage entry door. Poorly laid pavers sloped toward center. Unfortunately yard is also poorly graded in this area, directing runoff toward the foundation.

New landing needs to be lower than the patio, and below the door threshold, roughly 36" square, sloping away from the foundation. Looking at placing a channel drain like this one at the outer edge of the landing, piped out to the right to meet with a downspout to be buried and drain to a popup in the yard. Or perhaps better in this situation, an EZ Flow French Drain pipe. Or regular corrugated drain pipe with stone, as an open french drain.

Would prefer something easy to do myself, senior with arthritis. Or inexpensive. Not concrete.
