hi there, I am wanting to to shiplap for the tv/electric fp wall, length of wall is 13 feet, ceiling height is 7Ft 9 inches, jut out wall about 6 feet, so have 31/2 feet or so flanking the FP wall, they are telling me I CANNOT have this look. I don't understand why,? is it due to the ceiling height in basement and that our tv will be 65 inches wide, with FP about 60 wide? I was thinking of putting floating shelves on either sides of the Centre wall. thank you in advance :) wall Paint is revere pewter , suggestion on pain colour would be great as well. love a warm cozy feel, cohesive look, not sure if I should do the 13ft wall all in Revere pewter, or if I can do the shiplap part, do that in a warm white?
