Engineered hardwood questions

last year
last modified: last year

Hello. I have a load of engineered hardwood that's been cut up that I'd like to salvage. Plywood core. It's tongue and groove, and hard to separate. My question is, can I cut the planks at the seams, then glue down on to my concrete subfloor? This would mean the tongue and groove would be gone, and the flooring would no longer interlock. It would be laid essentially like tile. Is this a thing?
