Where are you? In the south black is very traditional for shutters. In other parts of the country, not so much.

@HALLETT & Co. I am in Viriginia ... a lot of homes around here have the same shutter colors (beige and black) ... I am open to other ideas, I just hate the tone of green they chose with the red door. :/
