Not sure if it's worth it--there's so much stuff on the counter that you really don't see the backsplash.

I zoomed in and still cannot see your backsplash. Are you sure you need to change it if it blends in and is hidden by appliances and belongings?

When you move in take the pics to show us what you are asking about I can't even see the backsplash but I do see bigger issues with the kitchen than any backsplash.

Do NOT use screen shots, use jpegs uploaded from a photo file. The last thing you worry about in a new to you home is a backsplash.

If you don't like it ? You REMOVE IT AND GET ONE YOU DO LIKE: )

On the contrary, it did not backfire. You have more information now than you did before you posted the dilemma. All good advice, and it is unanimous. Three pros and two very active and talented non-pros said essentially the same thing. Waiting is never a bad idea--decorate in haste, repent in leisure!

Congrats on buying this home. After you move in post new better pics of the entire room that this room is open to. With the curtains, deer, and loads of belongings gone, I think this will look like a neutral kitchen with loads of decorative possibilities. The floor color and wood ceilings will drive a lot of your choices for kitchen color, but there are so many directions you can go in.

Do you not want to remove it for budget reasons? Just looking for a cheap DIY fix?

I think I would paint the walls something other than white and leave the backsplash alone.

This can be a tough crowd - but it is an amazingly talented crowd that is only trying to steer you in the right direction.
