Use slabs of your countertop material for the backsplash. That enhances the impression with the full on view. You should map out how the counter pattern relates to the wall slab and map the cuts with your fabricator to avoid disappointments.

Hi happy legs that would be the whole backsplah . the kitchen is very small. if i would have put the microwave and cabinets over the stove there would’t be that much at all. might have been able to do it. flo suggested tiles. it was $$$ to do the backsplash

You can get a sample and see how it looks. $400. Maybe it's OK for 3 months. OR I'd make-up full size templates of the different spaces you need to cover. Get all your scrap material. ID where it came from. Shop some other fabricators for a better price.

Dan, i have been to 3 or 4 tile places here looking for something similar i had no luck. i have searched the internet for the taj crema and very few dealers have it. The ones that did have it had no remnants. i would have to buy the whole slab. the problem is i am in chicago and the condo is in florida. I went to floor and decor because they have stores in most of the states. i was lucky enough to find something i like there. i ended up not using them because they were not reliable and just couldn’t wait for them. my contractor found a vender that was able to get it for me. i had to pay more from them, but it was worth it. had it done in 10 days. I tried hard trying to find one that matched. since this is a new quartz it is almost impossible to find remnants.

I’d use paint, it’s surprisingly resistant to messes and easily redone. Add a framed picture or two, and a stainless panel behind the range.

there is going to be a hood

Someone used this tile with it - it appears to be Bedrosian Cloe White tile (it comes in 2.5 x 8 or 5 x 5). In this photo, the Cloe White looks like it has a strong taupe tone to it - however, I have it installed in my guest bathroom, and it does not have a taupe tone. It might be the lighting?

The solutions include to pay a certain amount buying a slab and have the job completed. Or pay a little to paint the wall to make the space usable and find another fabricator to supply the product when more remnants turn up or at a better price. Add a lesser cost in the future . Looking for a new more reasonable priced person is worth exploring. Set the budget and include that in your search. Thin porcelain slab material may offer an option at a quality level similar to tile.

There have been dozens of Dilemmas about matching Taj with a backsplash. See if you can find some of them that had happy endings. I also suggest looking on TileBar.com for tiles since they send 5 samples for $5 and have A LOT of possible backsplash tiles for your countertop. Since every Taj is unique it is hard to make specific tile suggestions.

My niece has quartz and she hates it. She got the white with veins. She says her stains. I am not crazy about quartz either but didn’t want to invest in quartzite since I am only here a few months. I know you have to be careful.

Do you think gray or a black will stain?

it is light but has an overall pattern. I don’t think I will have a problem. Just have to be careful with you anything acidic I think and can’t put real hot pans on it

I have a couple places on my countertops that have clear glass cutting board that I put hot things on or I leave it on my cook stove if I need more room for things I have a glass top cook stove

Flo i think it is too much. it is also marble don’t think marble would be good for a backsplsh doesn it stain

I have Taj Mahal w daltile subway tile it’s a very light cream almost white.. staggered it doesn’t take away from the stone.

I didn’t end up installing Taj, but I still have my sample. Here it is with the tile I just had installed which comes in a few colors. It is MS I Urbano Glossy Crema.
