I agree with Patricia, it should be all white. The blue and vanilla are both poor choices to go with the siding. I don't think contrast is called for here. I'm not sure that's the right white either, but pick your battles, the blue and vanilla are much worse.

I am not sure why they want the vanilla to stay, since it goes with nothing. I would paint all the royal blue to white, and if you could paint the vanilla white too, that would be even better.

Does a board (or whomever) have to agree, do they accept suggestions and assume entire complex has to be the same? Contrasting trim is actually detrimental. Why is the big question.

If someone can provide an example of no trim (all white), present to them. The cream trim (whatever reason for keeping) is more than enough. If it‘s your own decision -white!

The random vanilla and blue accents do not help this building at all. All white would be such an improvement and would make ongoing maintenance much easier (always a good pitch for an hoa board)
