Ha, I like the Monopoly pieces!

yes i did too

LOL, the tyranny of spell-checking and thinking you are done.

It reminds me of a discussion I had with DH the other day about how few people on FBM properly spell "Length, width, and height" and don't even get me started on fractions vs decimals.

At least it didn't say magnifine glass.

To help you find things in your junk draws.

Grammar errors in product descriptions definitely make me hesitate too. For a personalized gift, I recently tried music box fridge magnets and the quality was excellent, letting recipients pick their own song and photo. You can customize every detail to avoid any wonky text, making it a safe and thoughtful alternative.

The iron was always my favorite!

My friend is selling this book of her water colors, field notes, and commentary on our fragile democracy. I don’t often purchase Christmas gifts this early but this seems like the right present for a special friend.

That site has a search function worse than gardenweb’s. I put in “Monopoly” and “monopoly“ for zero results. A search for game pieces results in 17 pages of everything from hats to cocktail napkins and chandeliers. I don’t have that kind of patience 😎

Kswl - I did the same thing! Even tried a Google image search. But I found it on a few other sites.

Thanks Mtn— I was curious about the size, assuming (without good reason except Monopoly!) that it would be diminutive. The description of ”miniature” certainly i mlies small and cute but the size is almost that of an actual iron. What has happened to the people who write things for a living? They can’t spell, have no command of grammar and now don’t know the meanings of the word they choose to describe what they’re trying to sell. It’s maddening🧐
