Flooring dilemma help?

last year
last modified: last year

So we've changed our flooring from carpet to a chevron style laminate , and non of myself or partner are floor layers but to save money we had a go at it , got all the flooring down and realised there's lines going width ways that are very noticeable we read up u shouldn't stagger patterns as it would leave the chevron style not matched so we didn't stagger 🤦‍♀️ just been informed we should always stagger , the living rooms completed and now I'm wondering if I take it all up will it brake the seams and not be able to use them again is it just for aesthetics or will the flooring break overtime can I get away with staggering odd pieces or is it a case of ripping it all up 😔 HELP , I don't know what to do
