What color gray is this?

What color from Sherwin Williams would most closely match the gray trim in this photo? I’m looking for a warm greige. We used SW ”Agreeable Gray” on our trim but we want to go darker. Thanks for any help!

Go the next color darker on the color strip. there are 6 shades on the strip online pick one or take that pic with you and match it .

That looks more taupe than gray.

The only grey I see is the concrete steps and the pebbles. Like chispa said, looks more taupe. But be veeerrry careful when poking around in the taupe family. As a general rule of thumb, taupe has pink tones it in it.

Is this your house? Or are you looking to re-create the look? On this house, all the colors work very well together, so I'd leave it alone if it's yours.

We are trying to recreate this look. i agree its more taupe or greige, but wither way i like it. This is our house now-i was afraid to go too dark/too gray but ”Agreeable Gray” was just way too light to create any sort of contrast.

Oh yea...definitely no shortcuts. You have to judge on both sunny days and cloudy days, at differing times of day. Because much of the year is cloudy up where I am, I follow the advice someone gave me long ago -- if it looks good on a cloudy day, it'll look good any day. That said, if you're in a climate where it's sunny most of the time, you'd follow the opposite.

Agree with these comments. It’s close to impossible to know without testing colors. You might just check SW Worldly Gray and Dorian Gray. Know that colors can look quite a bit lighter on the exterior.

This photo has Dorian Gray on the door and shutters. Siding is Repose Gray (also a pretty true representation of how light RG looks on the exterior).

As Diana posted, there are no shortcuts. Trust me, I’ve been there and drove our painters a little crazy!🥴
