Will there be a TV and how many people will you need to seat at one time?

Yes I have a TV which can be put on a wall or TV stand, and only 2 people

You want the dining table close to the kitchen for serving. A TV in the corner so you can watch from the sofa or dining table. The dining chairs should be upholstered and with arms to provide extra seating. Swivel maybe.

They make corner units for TVs.

You could go a sectional with one section facing away from the window. If you are considering one, they are very nice and cozy.
