Looking for dining room jnspo for our new home now that we have some furniture! Thoughts on it this would go in the space and what kind of rug would go?

First two photos are of table and chairs and then the next photo is our dining area (we are not keeping the rug there) and the hallway/kitchen is the next photo to show how we have the space already!
