Google “entry shoe storage cabinets“online. Some are very narrow & offer closed or open storage options, with multiple shelves.

Obviously, shoes belong here. In a piece of furniture or custom shelving.

I like @littlebug Zone 5 Missouri’s suggested placement for a custom cabinet.

If you need more space, is there enough space to replace the pony wall with a cubby wall that will hold bags, shoes, etc.?

I never thought of this and will look into this!
