Help with master bathroom layout please!

We are looking at remodeling our master bathroom. It's 13'x9'. Currently it is broken up by some interior (non load-bearing walls) with a small room for the shower and toilet, a room for the vanity, and it also includes the closet. However, we are going to take out all the interior walls and convert a weird little (actually not small at all - bigger than the bathroom space itself, but it has a slanted roof, and isn't insulated well, but that's a separate post) attic room next to it (not pictured) to be the closet.

So I'm including a sketch that shows where things currently are, but I don't have the interior walls drawn in since they will come out. Totally open to moving plumbing, just looking for best layout. Prefer not to move the doorways, but we could if necessary. Goals: Tub and separate shower, double vanity. Those are kind of the main things. Each of the darker squares represents 2 feet. Would love some layout ideas!

Haven’t taken any photos, but it’s going to be gutted so it will all look different. There’s no window either, but the 9’ wall at the back is an exterior wall and so we could theoretically put one there.

We had a contractor out who sketched up this design (A.) I'm really just wondering if anyone has other ideas. He gave one other idea, which was to turn the tub sideways, and move the closet door. I preferred the tub sideways because it made easier access to the proposed shelving, but it involved reducing the size of the vanity and I don't really want to go smaller than the 6 foot that it is currently. (Looking at my original rough sketch above I accidentally drew it a bit smaller. It is actually currently 6'). I'm also attaching a copy of the bathroom as drawn on the floor plan, so you can see where the walls currently are, just for reference. I don't know why it shows a little bump out where the shower is. That wall is totally flat. (The bonus room will become the closet once we've addressed the insulation and the layout.)

That corner of shelves is just wasted space and a freestanding tub in a tight space is not a good idea. Something more like this with a built in tub and the shower occupying the corner would be a better use of the space

You need a FULLY dimensioned drawing of the existing conditions,. Every wall, opening, etc. Every single foot and inch. Uploaded as a jpeg.

Even your contractors suggestion needs ever foot and inch, and adjacent areas noted. Along with ceiling heights.

Agree on the open shelves - wouldn’t is be hard to access them? Do you absolutely have to have a tub? we eliminated ours when we reno’d our master and am so glad we did

Agree about the open shelves, and I already had sent him a note about the tub. I do not want freestanding! They’re pretty, but impractical for me. And yes, we could forgo tub altogether, but I really would prefer to have one :)
