Yes, this forum seems very slow right now, Perhaps it has been the vicious storms and unusual weather all over the world that has slowed the interest in gardening.

My citrus are just now starting to get ready to ripen one day - maybe yet this year. Right now we are having some very cold and nasty weather here in middle California. ( I think the apples will like the cold. )

My trees have gotten too big to wrap now. I imagine that the frost will do the pruning for me.

Lost the lime this summer. Don't know why, it just dribbled off. It was over 10 years old, so I guess not too bad for a tree in a pot, heh. This year I picked up a blood orange, which grew a couple feet this year, and a lemon, which also grew a lot, but not as much as the orange.

I don't usually post in this forum because I just have a tree or two in pots.

Hello from NC. Hope you've been well, @poncirusguy6b452xx. Hope everyone has. I've calmed down from my citrus growing obsession, but do still have a few favorite citrus. Planted some red lime seeds today, which made me think of checking out this forum again after all this time.

I just found my way back here and was happy to see some familiar names! I remember the old old days with Millett and Tapla. I got so much good information, and it felt like a real community. Maybe it can be revived?

Hi Steve. I pulled them from the ground in order to save on my electrical bill((. If I had you local I'd have you help with an addition like you have.

Unfortunatly, when I did it was late last fall and it never adjusted to the huge difference. It died(

The other fared well though, especially my Kishu onesw. Thanks for asking

The only plants in my greenhouse are those that go down to almost freezing and stay cold. I have all my dormant figs in there, many cold loving orchids, and many more plants that like being very cold in order to flower and rest.

I do have a couple of potted citrus in there too. Doing ok so far surprisingly.
