Id take the cognac… the smooth non textural surface will differentiate it from floor . id be nervous about the dark cab choice. must say that taj counters wouldnt be my first choice w these picks .. do you have another one? The whiter corians would be terrific… there are white granites too. taj is a complex pattern and usually yellowish… the rich browns of floor and cabs are enhanced w more undertones in the white family i think.

heres a "white" granite..so nice w the rich browns..2nd one is more gray family if you prefer that avenue.

If cogniac is the bottom right color then I think it is the best of these. The rest are too dark.

Without knowing the style of your home, or whether or not all the cabinetries will be the same, personally I would stay away from the darker one because they show everything (fingerprints, dust, etc.). Perhaps reconsider the lighter stains that compliment with the lighter aspects of your flooring.

Definately not the one thta looks gray bt the bottom on the right is IMO a great one to blend a bit with the floors and simple . Lots of stuff in a kitchen and IMO the cabinets need to be nice but not the only thing you see in the space so a blend IMO . I would however need to see your stone slabs if already chosen. Since IMO that drives the bus it is beautiful but can look very different slab to slab.

I like the one in the first pic the best with the floors -- the rich, warm dark brown one.

I would choose cabinet color and lighting before choosing paint color.

Why not go with a color for the cabinets, like a subtle blue or green ?

I really never understand the wood stained to look like something else so maybe a painted cabinet on MDF is the real answer in a color that works with the floor and the counter all these things need to work together

I used dark stained kitchen cabinets in 2019 with Taj Mahal counters. No one was doing stained cabinets in my area at that time, but it made the most sense for the Spanish style of the house. I matched the stain color to the existing beams. Cabinets from Wood-mode, mahogany.

Thank you, everyone! We went with the lighter one (cognac). It matches the best in tone by far. Cabinets will be solid wood, stained, as that is the look we prefer :)
