Coretec Wheat Oak is in the running for me also, along with Stockton Oak. I used the visualizer and on my screen, Stockton oak looks nothing like my large sample. No flooring stores around me seem to have Wheat Oak for a sample.

I bought a box of the Wheat Oak and here is how it looks in my house.

The top two are in natural light and the bottom is full indoor recessed lighting, no natural light.

The left side is Zawn Oak and the right is Wheat Oak. Natural light from the left side and indoor lamp above on the right side.

Did you end up using the wheat oak? It looks nice in the photos.

I was torn between the Zawn Oak and Wheat Oak for weeks!. Chatgpt ultimately helped me make my decision.....it was a great tool for determining/verifying undertones. I did a lot of fact checking but found it to be a surprisingly helpful resource..... I know.....I know....crazy but true! Finally pulled the trigger today.....we're going with the Wheat Oak.

I started by providing Chatgpt with the manufacturer, design and colors of our cabinets and provided context about our home (all the things that are important to us) ie: home was built in 1905, want a traditional, timeless look and we have big dogs so it's important that we have a floor that can withstand animals/high traffic but also hides dust and dirt. Most important we want a floor where the undertones compliment my cabinets and provide me with all of the above mentioned needs. In addition to this I provided Chatgpt with my top 4-5 floor contenders and it ranked the floors based on all the stated criteria and ranked undertones. Note: Chat's graphic concepting/design is rough, but the extraction of information, impressive. Good luck!

Hi Lisa. Yes I did end up ordering the Wheat Oak. we are having it installed at the end of this month and I will definitely post pictures after it is installed. The wheat oak will be a replacement for another LVP product that was defective. So this process has been extra nerve-racking because I want to get the colors just right, but I also want to get the product just right. Just so you know in real life the weed oak looks lighter than it does in all of the photos. But I had a friend who's an interior designer take a look at the wheat oak with my existing paint color, which is Edgecombe gray. And she said they are a good match.

hi Lisa. What an awesome idea to use ChatGPT to make your selection. My husband uses ChatGPT for everything and I am surprised that somehow never came up as an idea. I will post pictures at the end of this month after I have the Wheat Oak installed.

Does your lvp wheat oak have a slight orange undertone. I am looking for a lighter lvp by coretec with a very slight honey orange to it because I need to stay away from anything leaning grey and want to stay closer to my cabinet colors but am not trying to match them.

In real life it has a very sandy gold/brown look. It does look orange in the photo due to the lighting

In real life the lvp doesn't have any gray in it.

IRL the wheat oak looks lighter than in the photos. The color has variation between planks but not within planks. That is exactly what I was looking for. I also like the seams. I was afraid they would get dirty or be difficult to clean and they are very easy to clean. I didn't care for the seams that looked like grout on other products and took a risk trying something new. I'm so glad I did.
