Its your house, and if you like it, then thats all that counts. I personally prefer all my trim, to be the same color. Maybe consider a color for some of those rooms for the walls.

if the kitchen cabinets are taupe, I would paint the walls and trim the same Taupe color.

Let your textiles, countertop, backsplash, etc. be the feature in the room, not a contrasting trim color.

IMO bedrooms and bathrooms can be differebnt from the rest of the house even in style . So a yes for there but in the kitchen which probably is open to the rest of the main living area I would do all one color and for me that is white . I rarely like colored trim but a matte finishe for walls and the same color in a seimgloss is anice look and just enough contrast .
