If I found out they put me on Youtube, I would cancel the class, asap!

    There goes dry January.

Count me in. That looks like fun and anyone who would sign up for that class are probably fun people. That type of workout is grreat for balance and general moving.

I think Gscience takes Zumba --- she can lead!

Zumba is fun if you have the right group. And you like dancing at all. I definitely think you should try it next weekend!

Looks like a fun class! Love Zumba but sometimes my right knee does not.

Am I the only one who ended up watching random you tube shorts for 20 minutes? Loved the horse clips.....and the cats falling into water, and the doggies loving all the little kids.......and the parrots........

Yes, Zumba! Sure, I'll lead a workout, LOL. Once I retire from the "real job" I do plan to go back to group fitness and personal training. I do not need another job on top of my job.

A waiver/consent to be recorded is typical.

If you want to do a fun virtual Zumba class, see FitHappenzLLC out of Buffalo. They started during the pandemic and have quite a few of us from out of town who still log into class. You can pay per class or else a monthly subscription. I do Zumba and Zumba step. I used to teach regular step in the 1990's. Of course, when I attend in person with my sister I'm like a celebrity.

Zumba! Brings back memories. We had a free class at a school where I worked. It was fun. The two male teachers were really fun and pretty funny. I always stood near them. It ended when the school district said they would start charging rent for the after-school class. So sad.

I do that in my bathroom every morning!

Kswl, those songs are on my 70s playlist that I listen to at the gym. I do a whole glute series to Cheryl Lynn's Got to Be Real.

Oh I so miss line dancing. Hopefully, once my hip is healed, I'll be able to return. Not only does my body miss it but my brain does too. Nothing made me smarter faster than line dancing!

I have one friend who does Zumba. Not sure if she wears the belly dancer yhingy. That guy us a good sport.

Im trying to remember what we called this sort of exercise back in the ’80s. Fun and I looked a lot cuter in spandex back then.

    Jazzercise?

When I was young, between horse back riding and going dancing, I was in great shape. Didn't have to exercise and couldn't keep weight on. Now I sit in a chair at my computer, get up, go to the kitchen and make dinner, sit in front of the TV while eating and then get up and do a few odds and ends before going to bed. I am not having any trouble keeping the weight on!

Kept telling myself - when I retire I will do better. Decided this year, 16 months before I retire, I am going to start moving more, doing more and hopefully, by the time I retire I will be ready to have some fun and not just a lazy pile of fat sitting on the sofa.

Always loved to dance and think Zumba would be more fun than work.

The dancers are cute! I’m not sure what the belly-dance thingy is for though.

I have been doing Zumba for about 10 years now. I am very not good at it, but I love the music, I love the social aspect, and it is the ONLY exercise that I enjoy and actually seek out.

I iwsh I could locate a meme there was- it's a graceful smooth dancer and an elephant ( or rhino) in a tutu....looking fabulous. It was the contrast of " what I think I look like and what I actually look like". I don't care I enjoy it and as I say, it's better than sitting on the couch.

I love the guy in the white socks toward the back, who leads off quite gamely with skipping. His eyes are locked on someone he is trying to follow. That is so me.

What fun! I would love to be a part of this.

One of my fondest travel memories is popping into the village hall in a tiny Cornish village called Paul one spring evening and joining a group of line dancing women, who were extremely kind and welcoming to us Texans! (I'm in the blue shirt, and these ladies from Cornwall are putting me to shame with their perfectly executed moves!)

Ahh, what a lovely story Ida! That, not something you can simply buy, is truly what 5-star travel means.

The Quaker school my kids went to for middle school had square dances fairly often. There is no better ice breaker!

PS Oh carp. Just read that idiot's t-shirt. I am so over him and his skipping.
