Tracefloyd's comment right above mine is important. I scrolled down here to comment that the tile can look very different (busier) depending on the skill level of the tile installer.

For example, in the previous comment by tracefloyd, look at the way the tiles have been installed on the walls. Someone took time to select the tiles that were placed next to each other on the wall.

I couldn't find your exact tile - but here is a faux marble tile - you can see how the installation will affect how busy it will or won't look (all below photos are of the same faux marble tile):

This was installed sort of oddly + there are two distinct looking tiles that are diagonal from each other = making it very obvious that it's the same tile repeated. I've seen several installations on Houzz where the installer put two/three tiles right next to each other (without even flipping the tile so that it was IDENTICAL). It doesn't seem that difficult to avoid that.

The installer on the one below appears to have put some thought into the layout - there is a mix of busier tiles and less busy tiles (although towards the left corner of the back wall it is a pretty busy):

You can tell that the installer for this shower took some time to determine the layout of the tiles (had veins run from one tile through the next tile in order to try to make it look more like a slab of marble):

There are people who prefer that the tiles are installed so that all the veins run the same direction (example, from left bottom to top right of tiles) in order to try to make the walls look less busy. There are examples of this type of installation here on Houzz if you search for it.

Below are a few floor installations of the same exact tile that has been used on the walls in the above photos (the last one looks different because I think the tile is a 48x48 size):

It appears that the tiles with more bold veins were mixed in with ones that have less veining in order to keep it a little less busy looking:

A big question is how many different patterns does the faux marble tile that you're considering have? Some have less than ten different patterns = lots of repeats = extra faux looking. I know that there are also ones that have over 40+ different patterns.

Personally, I am not a fan of faux marble tile (I have real marble in my primary bathroom for my stand alone shower surround + 42" up the wall around my freestanding tub. I do not have marble tile on my bathroom floors (I have 4 x 12 real charcoal slate tiles in a herringbone pattern). I decided to have a solid white countertop installed because I felt like my bathroom would be too busy otherwise (I also have a rift sawn white oak vanity). With the Brazilian slate (fairly uniform in color) + solid white countertop = the marble tiles are the "star" of the bathroom.
