I have no idea just not enough info or pics of the space to help. Where does the sliding door go to? Is this at the rear of the house? I need pics of the whole room and you need to tell us what it is you are asking for. besides a feature wall. I see a sloppy made bed , a dog, a too small lamp and a picture hung too high and too small for the wall it is on . So post the new pics here in a comment and tell us a bit about who is using the room too. Please do not start another post

Pick some curtains you love, then develop a color scheme. If you look at favorite things, they are all bland. Bread is one of the world's favorite foods --- not because everyone loves it, but because no one hates it. If you crowd source, you'll either get someone else's favorite or bread.

You are replacing a window with a sliding door to where? A patio?

You are worrying on an accent wall in a bedroom with builder bad : ( carpet? What is happening with the flooring? Where is the REST OF the bedroom , from all angles? what size is it? is there a closet? a bath off the bedroom? Draw the room,, measure it, note every foot and inch of everything, every opening and where it leads.

You need an INSPO picture, how do you want the bedroom to feel? You need to raise the shade and in daylight, add pictures all angles and include the "beyond the window" view.
