Opinions on Bilevel

Hi everyone! I would love some input on how you would alter the exterior of my house. We have a Bilevel built in 1970. Our navy blue shingle siding is in great shape and we have brick.

Personally, I would love to add “peaks” I believe they are called for some definition and also add an arch & columns by the door.

I’m not sure if replacing the brick and adding stone would look nicer or painting the house & brick white?

Any input is greatly appreciated! We also live on top of a mountain so our one side of the lawn is VERY ROCKY which isn’t great curb appeal and we had our other side worked on which came out great. I will post pictures. Thank you!

Change the front door to a single with sidelites and maybe a rectangular transom or a window above the door with no transom. Remove the shutters, little better landscaping and enjoy. No "peaks" are necessary, no conducive to the style of the home.

The red brick, navy and white is a great combination. I'd keep the shutters and the paint scheme. It's a great house. Sure, it's 70s, but it's got great retro style. I wouldn't mess with that.

I have no idea how any "peaks" would add "definition". The way to deal with rocky soil is to plant plugs. They'll take a little longer to get to full size, but they are a lot easier to plant in rocky soil.
