Before i posted pics i wanted to say that i would like to remove a bank of cabinets but would loose quite a bit of storage. Does anyone if any suggestions this kitchen? I am hoping not to change the foot print of the kitchen as we put new lvp flooring down a couple of years ago.

We still need to see the center of the kitchen, with the appliances…and your budget.

coordinate some better lighting between the kitchen and dining area. Put up fabric valances or something across the windows atop the blinds. Use the window sill for plants / remove the misc items sitting there. Is it getting close to time for new appliances? stainless would look better. Id really hesitate to tinker w the layout or remove / alter cabinets unless I had a cohesive improvement plan. Losing storage is not a good plan. The spruce ups can occur in other smaller scale activities. I generally like the cabinets.

An actual floor plan would be helpful that bank of hanging cabinets is really the eyesore in the space it makes the space feel closed in and honestly those are IMO along with new appliances the change needed . I have found with clients that storage sometimes is an issue becuse they never purge stuff mYbe start there to see what you honestly need in the space ? Is this your only DR ? If not maube some caninets in that space could work for storage or maybe where you have the art on the wall a better cabinet there to store stuff . Waht is the door leading out of that dining space ? Be really honest with yourself about what is really needed in that kitchen
