I love the diet math! And I’m personally Ok with praying to George…

These are all at least 20 years old:

    1)

    2)

    Flowers in mid June

    3)

    Also flowers in mid June

I also love the math and watching your grammar, which I am very bad at.

I call this one Andy No!!! since I think it came from Andrew. The two aren't very similar so I think it started from something else, maybe a seedling started as Andrew was diminishing? The leaves are nice and thick, it is growing in the sun and it is fast growing. So I won't complain, I am enjoying it.

    End of April

    Blooms in July

Not mine but it belongs to my friend in California.

Yep, goes to show how important grammar can be.

ig your gold is wonderful and I have gone through a bunch with no success. So many golds have white or pale lavender flowers. I think the flowers will be the deciding factor.

Paula there are so many it could be but you or your friend could look at Clifford's Forest Fire.

we eat everything in fewer servings than the package says 😜..

if I had photos of all of my NOID's I could fill this post 😉..

I'm not the best at ID's..a big understatement..

indianagardengirl..I have a guess for #1..Paul's Glory?..I'm looking for mine..I have a tag but I'm not sure where it lives..I love your gold one..l don't know it..it's different than my golds..🤷‍♀️

    Beth..I love Andy No!!!..I love the shape..I don't recognize it..if I saw it tag or not I'd buy it..🤷‍♀️

Paula..nice looking hosta..the leaves are round compared to mine with similar coloring..🤷‍♀️

I cropped a photo for a better look at this one..no clue what it could be..I know I planted it at some point..it's a dull green not grass green..I actually like it a lot..

there's more but I'll start with this one..

Ann, thanks for the guess of Paul’s Glory. I don’t think it is, as I have PG in another area and they are noticeably different. (I have posted leaf pics of both side by side here and we didn’t get an ID.) But no harm trying again, as someone different might look! Or another thought occurs…so I thank anyone who looks and might have an idea.

Igg, the yellow hosta is really pretty. The flower reminds me a bit of the flower on Old Glory and Squash Casserole……but I know it’s neither. PG was a good guess, whatever it is though, it’s a nice one!

Utog, I love Andy NO!!! Very cool whatever it is!

Paula, could it be Pocket of Sunshine?

Ann, that’s a great looking NOID! I really like the color and leaf shape! 👍🏽

    Here are my NOIDS:

This coud be Abiqua Drinking Gourd???

That’s a good cautionary tale for if I ever meet a fortune teller who grants wishes. Now I’ll be very careful with my wording.

I’m staring at the NOIDs to see if anything comes to mind, but so far ??????

This is an oldie planted almost 30 years ago. I thought of it as undulata erromena until I noticed it doesn’t have the slightly ruffled edges of UE. The edges are very straight, but it’s never flowered, so no help there.

debra, your pic of undulata erromena looks like a good guess.

I'm no help with any NOID's, sorry. I have a few but mostly plain green ones that may be seedlings or i have had a couple that were evidently mislabeled from supplier.

This one I should be able to identify come spring (if I try hard enough). I must have relocated it and didn't tag it.

This was from a friend without an ID. My guess was Undulata Albomarginata

ig I keep looking at your first pic. Check out Bright Lights & Sweet Home Chicago???

    old_dirt yes to UA.

Ann I feel like I should know your little cutie. Do the leaves stay that size and do you recall the flowers?

Peren.all, I think Sweet Home Chicago may be it. And I do have that on a list of hosta that I ’lost’. Here’s a pic I posted a year or so ago showing PG on the left, unknown on the right. Looking at the library, the differences in leaf size and vein pairs point this way. I will tag it that way and confirm with flowering.

Oh excellent ig! I do hope flowers confirm SHC. With that side by side pic someone must have suggested Gold Standard at the time.

debra..I like your chartreuse NOID 👍..I can't help with the ID..my Abiqua Drinking Gourd seems more cupped than the NOID of yours that you thought could be ADG..

Laurie..I tried to find more photos of my NOID..even a group shot that I could crop..no luck..the leaves and the overall size are on the small side..I don't recall the flowers..my guess is if it had flowers they weren't special..

    Paula, could yours be Broadway?

I agree with Laurie that it looks like Gold Standard……in sun do the leaves really get light?

I think it has a slightly wider green margin than Gold Standard. Also a slightly smaller plant. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when it flowers, though.

Also thinking that GS wants to revert? I can’t recall where I heard that or if it’s correct?

debra - If not ADG, could be Love Pat?

I have always wondered whether my ADG was really ADG or Love Pat….. I have broken this one up several times. I have had this for years and I think I identified it. I can’t tell the difference between the two. Here’s what I think is ADG:

Looking in the HL data base, ADG has 15-16 vein pairs and LP has 8, quite a diffeerence. I didn't know that and should be easy to identify. I'll try to remember to look this spring. I have what was labeled as LP but not ADG.

Thanks old_dirt, I counted 13 pairs on the biggest leaf in the pic, so perhaps ADG is correct. I’ll get a better count from the back this summer.
