We are considering buying a 30-inch Ilve Nostalgie II dual-fuel range for our kitchen remodel. I have heard not-great things about the original Nostalgie (e.g., burners take a long time to ignite, or don't work at all). The Ilve sales rep in NYC assured me the Nostalgie II has been completely redesigned with all-new components, and addresses all of the complaints from owners of the original model. Does anyone on this forum own a Nostalgie II? How do you like it?
