Exterior paint colors

I'm considering painting the exterior. What colors would update and improve the curb appeal. I live on a busy street near a school. Wanting to update my look. Thanks!

I'd paint the door and the shutters blue and improve the landscaping. If you remove the yew hedge, you could put them at the edge of the sidewalk, to give a little separation from the busy street.

I would not paint the house at all. The house itself is looks good. Its the landscaping that looks old and outdated and is ready for a big refresh. All those squared off overgrown bushes in front of the house need to be removed. Look above my post to Celery Visualization images. There are some pictures done of landscaping on your house, that would change your house entire front, and make it beautiful. The shutters could use repainting in a much nicer color, as could your front door. Navy blue door would look really good on your house. I would also use the navy on the shutters if you want them to match, or a lighter shade of blue, if you dont watch them to match the door.

Spend the money on landscaping and maybe a new walkway with some curves.

Ok i hear ya. I'm going to update my landscaping 😆 As far as paint I'm leaning towards a navy/indigo colors for shutters and maybe a dandelion yellow for the door.

The shutters are way too skinny; if you want shutters please get some that are much wider and better proportionally with the windows (about half the width of the window). Love the blue, and better landscaping will help. It’s a nice house, I don’t mind the brick at all.
