That’s a really interesting room & a to die for view. The bookcase wall & door - wow! The 3 chairs - their styles seem to complement the bed & the room but especially the 2 on the window wall don’t look like ones I’d settle into for watching TV or reading. Before investing in new pieces to complement the bed I’d think about which of these chairs gets good use in it’s current location. And, what kind of use? Reading, TV watching, sitting on to put on shoes? Is there a dresser on the 4th wall we don’t see - to left of leaded glass door? Are the sconces that are next to high windows wired into the wall or…? I’m wondering if they can be moved - it looks like bed is centered between the 2 windows & sconces 1 over each side of bed. Wondering how much if any that layout can be altered. What I’m thinking is that the room is large enough to create a sitting area with at least 2 big comfy chairs & a table between with lamp in the corner opposite TV by the large window. It would be lovely to sit in the chairs to read, gaze out the window or watch TV. To do that the bed would need to be moved towards the wall with built in bookcase. That chaise would go & a larger bedside chest would replace the table that’s there. Don’t know if the double doors are entry to room or closet but even if they’re the entry, there should be lots of room to open & walk around. A floorplan layout would help with seeing what the options are.

This is helpful. The bed and sconces are unfortunately set in stone but there is 7.5 feet between bed and window wall and the window wall is 14 feet long, probably enough space for the two chairs you suggest. Ignore the tv screen. We don’t use it and have only not removed it because of the mounting system and the possibility we will want to replace it. My guy uses that awful chaise to put on shoes, drop extra clothes etc. I could replace it with a smaller chair though.

If that’s all the big chaise is used for, a small upholstered bench would do just as well! That would eliminate too many chairs in the room. I’d definitely create a comfy seating area by the window & maybe not 2 chairs. There are things called chair & a half - smaller than a loveseat, bigger than a chair. Maybe 2 of those. I assume dressers are in a closet or storage drawers in closet so no need for dressers? Maybe some kind of console table under the wall hung quilt / tapestry? A very long one in case you do replace TV?
