I will reiterate what I commented in a past lighting thread of yours. The fixture selection should be based on the level of design, cabinets, fixtures, and appliances, and size based on layout and function. Trimless recessed lights are perfectly fine, they will just cost more per fixture and more in labor, and in the future may be harder to find a replacement when the LED goes unexpectedly out (unless it is a very high end manufacturer with market stability).

I really like the trimless recessed lights but I'd be hesitant to install them because they're mudded into the ceiling drywall and thus, would be a pain to replace. Maxxima, for example, makes some slim, canless recessed lights that appear to be nearly flush with the ceiling but are not trimless.

USAI, Lucifer, DMF and Element are high quality but expensive led recessed fixture sources. The quality and output can go down to 4, 3 and 2" openings with 1000 and 1500 lumen led outputs. All dimmable.
