Help! Need great ideas for a rug!

last year

Hello everyone,
I am looking to replace this rug and pillows, in my family room. I am looking for ideas with colors. I am not a big fan of the yellows so I would like a rug without that color. I will probably also take pillows that no longer have yellow in them. Also the rug that is currently there is an 8x10. Would a 9x12 be more fitting? All advice is appreciated!!
