More important? This isn't your home. It's an empty remodeled shell with no furnishings in it, reading nothing that says anything about the owners. Difficult to discern if it is white paint leaning gray, or just gray everything. What is their style? Do you know? Have they entrusted you to be their designer, take all your advice? A third /fourth party relay will be a fail.

the work zone of the kitchen looks pretty tight / avoid many more details there.... whats the point.. theres 3x the space in the forward area. maybe a sconce above the kitchen sink window and then...

over on the left side......do something on the bare wall. do they have a table in mind? if they know the size/shape they can coordinate a fixture above the table.....better spot than the peninsula.
