I’m sorry what part are you looking for help on? To me you need blinds (Venetian/ bamboo/ Roman shades) drapes, art, and a new chandelier hung closer to the table. That said have you already bought window treatments? Do you love the light? The clock thing doesn’t add to the room.

I am having new windows installed. Once completed,blinds and window treatments will be installed. I agree,the clock no longer works. Do you think the light fixture should be changed?

Yes the light fixture should be changed. It doesn’t do any favors to anything in the room either color wise or style wise. Are there any other hanging lights in any area close to this one - where both lights can be seen from same point?

I think the light fixture would work better with a round table. If you like rattan, maybe something like this?
