I am a minimalist so might come across as a bit harsh but IMO things you treasure should be displayed to appreciate each piece .I think matching shelving on both sides would be a place to start the clock can go , the fake or dried plants , the candle holders really anything that is truly not precious take it away. The arrange the pieces to accent each one no stuff added that does not have meaning. When you do the shelving take time to really think about what will be displayed so shelves can be different heights for that reason.. I think the shelving in the same wood and color as the mantel will aslo help accent the pieces .

I quite like it as is.

If this were my space I would move the tv to the corner next to the window, placing it lower (a better viewing angle) and providing me with a lovely mantel to display 3-5 of my most prized items.

I would remove the table behind the sofa and everything that is on the table.

In the other corner I would have a low stand and one or maybe two floating shelves over the stand.

Pick up each piece you won and decide if it still brings you joy. So often we collect things that we love when we purchased or obtained the items, but the love fades and we just keep hanging on.
