Changing flooring in kitchen

Hi, we are needing to replace kitchen flooring which is through the doorway on the left of this picture and was wondering what we can do as we wont be able to match exactly this flooring and we are on a budget. Also the end room is going to be turning to carpet which colour's would be suggested for this

Is this LVP? I see two options:

1. Get as close a match as you can get. There will be a threshold where the flooring meets up. All you can do is all you can do, and you will notice the change less over time.

2. Go with a different type of flooring like linoleum or cork for the kitchen so the transition seems more expected.

As far as carpeting is concerned, why not just get an area rug and place it on top of the flooring? You would likely choose your color from the decor in that room.

I think slate look vinyl squares looks good w pine adjacent …what is the appearance and look of the kitchen cabs counter and backsplash tho? carpet for yonder space?… depends on your budget / carpet can be cheap like for a rental or more quality for more money if you want…there are always sales on these products depending on your desires. try neutral w green undertone ….cut pile carpet for starters
