Rounded lobes, so something in the "white" oak family. But might be an Q alba hybrid, as typical white oaks don't turn deep red (tho I've seen a rare example or 2). Swamp chestnut oaks can often turn red.

I agree with beng. Leaves are definitely NOT shumard but some oak on the white oak side of things. Bark looks accurate for a q. alba at the this stage of development.

I doubt you have mature leaves yet, but I do know swamp chestnut oak leaves are thicker and more "leathery" than white oak leaves, and that could ID it. I post a pic of swamp chestnut oak leaves.

Also possible as Bill says, a swamp white oak. For a pure white oak, the leaves look alittle odd, but young trees can be that way. White, swamp white and swamp chestnut oaks have pretty similar bark when young and can be hard to distinguish that way between them.

for being in the ground 10 years, your tree is holding a tight, columnar form. It might be a cultivar of alba.

In comparison, my Swamp white oak (Q. biclolor) planted from seed, spring of 2020, is much more spreading, with good annual growth. The leaves Fall color is generally an orangish, peanut butter brown and are largely marcescent on until spring.
