Spring is finally here

We have not had a good spring. There has been lots of cold days. I just don't think the lilacs and flowering trees have been as pretty as usual. However, the temperatures are warming up and things are happening in the garden.
We found the first scapes of the year on H. minor. It beats H. dumortieri here. Last year they all got frosted, so we are crossing our fingers this year.
The first of the iris are beginning to bloom. This little Noid dwarf is always the first.
We might have a flower of the dwarf iris Notation blooming tomorrow and we see scapes on lots of other iris. We planted about 20 new iris last season so this will be exciting.
