Our primary bedroom has been where all of the random leftover/ extra decor has gone and I’m ready for an updated room. I’m in need of help with decorating the dresser and nightstands. Are table runners still “in”? Would that look right over the dresser to add some warmth and texture?

I’m also open to changing the art above my bed to something with more texture. I don’t know my “design style” but I know I love neutral earthy tones and textures. What types of decor pieces make sense on a dresser and nightstands but are simple and neutral? I feel like I have too many little pieces.
