Thanks. i need a can of stain for my pergola.

I was hoping to have my paint selections finalized in time for this big 40% off sale but it's not happening. I still need more time to make sure I get this right. I read there is usually another big sale in June so now that's my new target, to have my paint colors picked by then.

I just saw this now - and I need paint!

@User - I'm not sure about exact colors for some of my selections (most!) - but I remember reading on a couple posts awhile ago that I could purchase the base paint for whatever type of SW paint I want to use now - and then come back later to have it tinted, I will double check!

All good points. Yes, I do know they run these promotions ( whether it is 40 or 25%) several times a year and I did also hear that you can buy the base ahead of time. I've never done that personally.

It just definitely adds up so maybe I'll motivate myself for the next one. lol

@User you can buy base and go back and have them tint it later! The tricky thing is that obviously different colors take different bases, so you may need to have at least an idea of what you want.

I'm thinking I might go do this tonight. I think I want to paint my living room in Shiitake but wondeirn if I should try one area in a gallon before committing as it's going to be a very complicated paint. (Very high vaulted ceilings with beams and lots of windows and kitchen cabinets. I'm dreading it really.)
