I just moved into an apartment. The total
Wall space is approximately 11.5'. I would like a blackout curtain. I am unable to take down the box with the screen. The metal inset box with the screen protrudes from the window frame about 2.5".

On the left and right side, there is clearance for a rod but in the middle, a support bracket could only be placed in from above. An "above the window" rod could be placed on the right side but the left side would only allow for a rod below the window opening due to the soffit/ceiling.

Any advice is appreciated
