Last year I collected a small number of seedling growing in a container with 'Katherine Lewis' and my focus was on selecting only the yellow ones. They've come back up and there's one in particular that holds promise IMHO. The new growth starts out green but quickly turns to yellow once it's fully unfurled. The leaves are glossy and the colour is almost orange. As you can see by the tag I have already assigned a name to it: "Sunny Kate" and of the three yellow ones it's easily the most vigorous.

Debra, not much of an effort on my part other than spotting an OP seedling that looked to have promise. Last year it didn't look like much other than a puny yellowish seedling, I'm ever so grateful to see the progress it's making this year and look forward to seeing it as a fully grown plant! That won't be for at least 3 years or more... hope I live long enough to see it...
