My much beloved rose garden inside the US Botanic Garden has been closed since early spring for major work on the pond area/invasive species control and other projects.

I miss visiting it, but found out there is another rose garden within walking distance of the office. This one is adjacent to the National Mall and next door to the Smithsonian Castle (in front if the Arts and Industry building). I walked down to the Katherine Dulin Folger Rose Garden over lunch yesterday and it was a joy to explore.
