Help with deck design

We have an existing deck and we are installing an above ground pool . My plan is to extend on the current deck and connect it to the pool. We are debating between 2 designs . We want some space for a couple lounge chairs next to the pool . What do you guys think? Thanks for any feedback!

Have you considered which way the sun will be shining as you sit in chairs?

Is this at ground level or raised to water level? It seems like the trampling would be blocking some windows.

How about the second option with the pool deck going off to the left instead of the right.

I did a similar design for a customer, but in this case, a new pool was being installed in front of an existing deck, and a deck around the pool was being added. You can modify your layout and instead of a fire-pit add a hot tub etc. Here is a 3d top view image to give you an idea.
