Shower head Colors?

last year

Hi All. When I picked out the tile for my shower I thought it was more gold. But now it looks more like a copper hue. Any suggestions on what color I should change the shower head too?
You can't see the floors since they are covered (my house is still under construction) but they are gray. And I'm attaching a pic of the cabinet.

"Love the warm copper tile – it’s got such rich character! Since your floors are gray and cabinets look like a soft taupe (from the pic), here’s how to harmonize everything:

1️⃣ Champagne Bronze Shower Head: Warmer than brushed gold but lighter than copper – it’ll bridge the tile and cabinets without clashing.

2️⃣ Matte Black: For bold contrast (picks up cabinet hardware) – makes the copper tile pop like jewelry!

3️⃣ Avoid matching copper exactly – metallics look best when they’re siblings, not twins.

Pro tip: Hold finish samples against the tile in both natural and bathroom lighting – copper shifts tones dramatically! ✨"

I am not seeing copper but a shade of brown and IMO chrome is classic just like marble no other color needed . Those cheap looking builder lights would be more of an issue for me and with greay floors for sure chrome . Kep things simple your counter is adding to the mix and needs chrome also,

Thanks! And yes the light fixtures will be changed as well. I'm just prioritizing the shower head first and will gradually change out the mirror lights etc as well. 😁

I don't see any copper in the tile either. The big disconnect for me is the gray and chrome in the shower, floor, and lighting, vs. the warm wood and gold hardware on the vanity. Perhaps change out all your hardware and fittings to gold/bronze/brass, to match the vanity pulls.

I plan on changing our ALL of the silver fixtures, Including the lights and faucet. I am just focused on the shower first! I am single and doing this on my own and these items add up. So baby steps. I appreciate the feedback on changing out the lights etc, and again I plan on it. Shower first though.

When you say "shower" I hope you mean the entire shower, not just the head, but the arm and the controls too. What exactly is the metal on the vanity? Can you match that?

Why the rush to change what the builder installed? It looks fine. Chrome goes with everything. Might as well use it for a couple of years and save up for higher end fixtures while you wait. There must be something else you need to spend money on now? Furniture, window treatments, landscaping, etc.

I agree^^^no need to do it piecemeal and feel even more frustrated to see something half done.

Yes when I say shower I mean entire shower, not just the head. The metal on the vanity is the standard chrome that the builder provided. I also plan to change that.

No "rush" to change. However even if I take my time and save up for all pieces, as you have suggested, the point of my inquiry is to gather ideas. So that I have items on my wishlist. I am brainstorming all ideas including the light fixtures etc. Brainstorming, but not buying anything yet. In the process of my brainstorming I hit a wall when it came to the shower fixtures. Hence the reason for the post.

Also I am good when it comes to furniture and landscaping. None of those items need to be purchased as of right now as it is already taken care of. I did quite a few upgrades in the house, but some upgrades provided by the builder were overpriced IMO. So SOME items I need to upgrade on my own. What I am focused on is upgrading/changing the basic items the builder provided. And the basic items are in mine and hall bathroom.

In my previous master bathroom I used chrome with a similar marble-look porcelain tile and in my current master bathroom I used a brushed "gold", also with a similar tile. Either finish can look good.

Wow, the hardware on the vanity does not look like chrome to me--it looks like brass/bronze/gold. But if it's chrome, then wait until you can change everything at the same time to a warm finish.

My apologies. I thought you meant the sink hardware. You are correct the cabinet handles are gold. It's called Palisades gold. You think it would work to just match the shower hardware to that?

Yes, if you can find a match.

Do you know what brand those cabinet pulls are? If you can find out it will end up being helpful in helping find a match for the plumbing fixtures.
