Living Room Windows Home Decorating

I would like to put Roman shades on all the windows in the living/dining area but it's really expensive. Would it be tacky to just put Roman shades in my living room and not put them in the dining room? Looking for recommendations.. Thanks in advance!

How many years do you expect to stay in this house? Ten years? Divide the price of roman folds by 10 and that is the cost per year. $500.00 per year--it's an investment. Two years? Find something ready made.

Price of shades depends on the company you choose. Get some quotes. Hunter Douglas is going to be more expensive than expensiveangetblinds.com budgetblinds.com or blindstogo.com orblinds.com

Check for a local vendor. A short distance from me is an independent shad/blind store.

Use a faux roman shade with your blinds. Check etsy lots of fabric choices and good prices

I would do all 5 windows that are shown in the picture
