You have already curtain rods installed but I believe that you are much better off with inside mount shades that open bottom-up and top-down. You can keep the bottom portion closed for privacy while still enjoying the beautiful views...nothing you can do with drapes or curtains. If you use 4 individual shades - one each glass - you are even more flexible...something like this:
